Debbie Ashton:
- qualified as a solicitor in 2004,
- 15 years as a school teacher, before re-qualifying as a lawyer.
- read Classics at Oxford and completing her PGCE at Cambridge
- taught GCSE and ’A’ Level Classics at maintained and independent schools.
- was a Solicitor with Liverpool City Council, before joining Nicholas Hancox Solicitors
- has experience of planning and environment law, local government law and village green registrations, as well as education law.
Debbie's long experience of teaching and pastoral care in day schools and boarding schools provides a very useful insight into the realities of life in school and college and brings a new dimension to our legal advice and representation for heads, governors and teachers. |
